What is Permanent Jewellery?
Permanent jewellery is a delicate bracelet, anklet, ring or necklace that is custom fitted and micro-welded directly onto you with no clasp. Designed to be worn every day, it’s a modern and meaningful way to mark a moment, connection or personal milestone.
Each piece is carefully measured and professionally welded for a seamless finish, creating jewellery that feels effortless, elegant and truly personal.
Why Choose Permanent Jewellery?
People choose permanent jewellery to:
- celebrate friendships, relationships or family bonds
- mark birthdays, anniversaries or life milestones
- create a shared memory at parties or events
- wear something symbolic, simple and timeless
Because it’s welded rather than clasped, it won’t catch, fall off or need taking on and off. It simply becomes part of your everyday life.
Expertly Crafted & Safely Welded
All permanent jewellery fittings are carried out by a qualified silversmith using professional micro-welding equipment and high-quality materials.
Chains are available in:
- Sterling Silver
- Gold Filled
- 9ct Gold (by request)
All jewellery is created using professional equipment and materials, including products from Perma Jewell, one of the leading suppliers within the permanent jewellery industry.
The welding process is quick, safe and comfortable. A protective barrier is placed between the skin and chain and the weld itself takes just a moment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can permanent jewellery be removed?
Yes, permanent jewellery can always be removed by carefully snipping the chain with scissors.
Removal doesn’t have to be forever, either, as re-welding is available for a small fee.
Does permanent jewellery hurt?
Not at all. The process is completely painless.
Although heat is used during welding, it only touches the jewellery itself and never your skin. A protective barrier is always used.
How long does permanent jewellery last?
Permanent jewellery is made using high quality, durable materials that are designed to be worn every day.
They are non-magnetic, resistant to the elements and require no special care.
Simply put, they last as long as you want them to.
What if my weld comes apart?
All permanent jewellery comes with a 30-day weld guarantee.
If your weld comes apart within 30 days of fitting, it will be re-welded free of charge. After this time, re-welding is available for a small fee.
Can permanent bracelets go in an MRI?
The jewellery itself is not magnetic and won’t interfere with MRI machines.
However, most medical professionals prefer jewellery to be removed. This can easily be done by snipping the chain and then re-welding it afterwards.
Can I shower with permanent jewellery?
Yes absolutely.
In fact, permanent jewellery is often easier to wear than rings or earrings as there’s no risk of it slipping off in soap or water.
Can I fly with permanent jewellery?
Yes, permanent jewellery is made from 925 sterling silver, 14ct gold filled and 9ct gold, which will not set off airport metal detectors.
